The San Roque Golf Resort boasts two Championship golf courses, the Spanish Open was played on the new course in 2006 and the older course in 2005.  There is an excellent Equestrian Centre, a beautiful swimming pool with floating bar, tennis courts, a driving range, Club House and a small Commercial Centre.  All these facilities are a short walk from the apartment.  A huge sandy beach is just a ten minute drive away.

The San Roque Hotel has some fine restaurants.  There is a traditional restaurant offering modern international cuisine, a Japanese restaurant and a poolside grill along with the more informal bar which has a lighter menu.

The San Roque Golf Resort is easily accessible to Marbella, the famous marina of Puerto Banus and Gibraltar.  You can also take a drive up into the Sierra Nevadas where the historical towns of Granada and Alhambra are only a two hour drive away.  For the more adventurous, a ferry will take you from Algeciras to Tangier, Morrocco in an hour and a half.  The famous Rock of Gibraltar, steeped in history, is a fifteen minute drive away.
